Social Work

Social Work

School division social workers work together with families, school teams, and others to help students feel safe and cared for at homeat school, and in the community.

School division social workers help

  • families understand what goes on at school

  • school teams get to know families better

  • make connections between families and possible supports

  • families work through:

  • parenting challenges

  • life situations and changes

Sometimes the work is done with individual families and sometimes in groups.

The school division Social Worker
works closely with the school team and can be reached through your child’s school.
